The first three volumes were compiled by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony and Matilda Joslyn Gage, 1886, volume 4 by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper, 1902, and volumes 5 and 6 were compiled by Ida Husted Harper alone and published by The National American Woman's Suffrage Association in 1922.
